The Cupinoro landfill, in the heart of the Lazio region, has been transformed before our eyes thanks to an ambitious environmental prevention project managed by the Contaminated Sites Remediation division of HTR Bonifiche.
In fact, with the works already completed, Cupinoro has become the first landfill in the region to be permanently closed and managed in the post-management phase, paving the way for new environmental protection practices.
At the heart of this project are three determined companies: HTR bonifiche, us, Pavoni SpA and Progetto Geoambiente Srl.
Each brought its own unique contribution: HTR bonifiche coordinated the construction site and managed the landfill, while our company took care of the earthmoving and containment works, and Progetto Geoambiente Srl laid the geosynthetics, a fundamental piece in our mission to protect the territory.
The environmental prevention project was a complex and multifaceted journey. Together, we worked on remodeling the topsoil, upgrading the internal road system, laying geosynthetics, and creating containment works. We also updated the leachate and biogas extraction systems, giving new life and meaning to our mission.
This project was more than just a cleanup. It is a symbol of our commitment to a better future, a tribute to our land and our community. And together, we can look forward with confidence and optimism, knowing that we are making a difference, one step at a time.
