Brescia has welcomed A2A and Pavoni SpA. as the protagonists of the inauguration of a new technology: a courageous investment of approximately 110 million euros aimed at making the waste-to-energy plant more efficient and eco-sustainable and, of this sum, a good 45 million has been specifically dedicated to installations that aim to drastically reduce emissions.
All the good intentions for a brighter and more sustainable future.
With this advance, the plant is able to generate enough thermal energy for 12,500 additional households, while maintaining a constant amount of waste treated. This will result in a reduction in gas use and an increase in plant efficiency up to 100%.
All this turns out to be the innovation of the moment because it is a technology that will help cut CO2 emissions of the 40%, currently already below the legal limits. Therefore, it is expected that this will avoid the emission of over 830 thousand tons of CO2 per year, equal to the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by 5 million trees.
And then there are us, Pavoni SpA, silent but determined protagonists who are always committed to investing in projects that give hope, foresight and the goal of making this planet a better place.
